Hello Everyone. I am sorry that I have not written in awhile, but life took over and I have had some good and bad experiences that I will fill you in on. As many of you have read, I had stopped taking fenben sometime ago, but it has always stayed with me, sitting in the […]

MRI Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar Spine

Hello! I went down to MD Anderson in August for scans and consultations and wanted to fill everyone in on how it went. My MRI scan of my spine is posted below. Overall, my radiation oncologist said that my brain responded well to the Gamma Knife procedure. I didn’t tell her about my experience with […]

CT Chest Abdomen Pelvis with Contrast

First, let me say that due to Gamma Knife Radio Surgery, I have been off FOLFIRI for nearly one month preceding this scan. In this time, my CEA went up from approximately 40 to 50. MRI of the Brain and Spine

I recently went to MD Anderson and had an MRI with anesthesia that lasted almost two hours. I was asleep, so I didn’t notice much save for the scratchy throat and extreme fatigue after waking up. The day after my MRI I had a consultation with my radiation oncologist and her PA. They told me […]

Days Ten-Twelve

I recently finished up my twelfth day on the regimen. The only real side effects that I have had was some nausea, which may of may not have come from the Fenbendazole. Regardless, it was manageable with Zofran or Compazine. The powder itself doesn’t taste like anything, but is pretty gritty in your mouth.

Well, I forgot to take my third dose of the regimen this week, so three days on and four days off turned into two days on, four days off, one day on. I’ll start my last regimen of my first month tomorrow. I will order another month of Fenbendazole off of Amazon next week. I […]

Days Four-Six

Well, days four through six of the regimen came and went without much fanfare. I took the three pills and powder packets on Monday through Wednesday of this week (Gamma E, Theracurmin HP, and Fenbendazole). I didn’t notice much of anything on Monday, but I had a touch of nausea on Tuesday and Wednesday. I […]

Days One-Three

I ordered a months supply of the three parts of the regimen from Amazon for a about $125. The Fenbendazole is about $10 a week with the vitamin E and Theracurmin making up the rest. The Fenbendazole is branded as Panacur C and comes with three packs of powder that you simply tear open and […]
