I ordered a months supply of the three parts of the regimen from Amazon for a about $125. The Fenbendazole is about $10 a week with the vitamin E and Theracurmin making up the rest. The Fenbendazole is branded as Panacur C and comes with three packs of powder that you simply tear open and dump in your mouth, one per day for three days. The other two are pills. You take two Thercurmin pills and one vitamin E pill, both are small and easy to swallow. After doing some research, I found that people typically do three days “on” and four days “off.” Some people take all three everyday for two weeks to start the treatment, though I am just sticking with three “on” days and then will pick up again with it next week. The power and pills don’t have any taste and I really don’t think any side effects. The only common one (One in one hundred) listed for dogs is nausea, which I didn’t experience. The first real test of the regimen for me will be at the end of this month when I go down to MD Anderson for an MRI, CT Scan and followups. We’ll see what happens after being on it for one month!
